Museo Reina Sofia

Als je geinteresseerd bent in de spaanse schilder-en beeldhouwkunst, dan is het Museo Reina Sofia de ideale plek om heen te gaan. Vele Spaanse kunstenaars hebben hier hun werken staan en hangen, zoals de beroemde Pablo Picasso en Salvador Dali. Het beroemdste kunststuk wat het museum heeft is toch wel de Guernica van Pablo Picasso, één van zijn beste stukken, gemaakt als protest tegen de bombardering op Guernica in 1937. Tevens zijn er ook enkele niet-Spaanse kunstwerken te vinden, alhoewel die in geringe mate aanwezig zijn. De beroemdste tussen die stukken is waarschijnlijk de 'Brushstroke', een sculptuur van de Amerikaanse Roy Lichtenstein.
