City of Manchester Stadium

Manchester telt naast Manchester United nog een topvoetbalclub, namelijk Manchester City. Het City of Manchester stadium is de thuisbasis van deze club, en heeft een capaciteit van 48.500 mensen. Naast voetbalwedstrijden worden hier ook vaak concerten gehouden, met grote artiestennamen als de Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi, Take That en U2. Zowel een concert als een voetbalwedstrijd meemaken is dan ook zeker een aanrader tijdens je verblijf in Manchester. Mocht je voor voetbal gaan, dan krijg je geheid een spannende pot voetbal voorgeschoteld. Er is dan ook een grote kans dat je de Nederlandse topvoetballer Nigel de Jong te zien krijgt.
